The national school of penitentiary administration ENAP Buea has graduated trainee chief warders and awarded epaulettes promoting warders to positions of high responsibility in a ceremony that took place on the school campus in Buea this Thursday 6th April 2023
The ceremony presided by the director of the general prison Nganjo Mama Lamia came within a peculiar context that
have threatened public order, with heightening insecurity as well as social and economic order suffering a great toll.
While sending off the students, Mr Nganjo Mama Lamia called on the graduates to execute a high sense of responsibility while discharging their duty. He equally reassured them that the state is looking up to them and they are therefore needed to execute professionalism and diligently respect the norms of human rights.
Amongst the top admistrative personnel that attended the event was the, governor of the South West Region Bernard Okalia Belai, the SDO for Fako Mr Chaibou, the DO for Buea Mr Aba Abdouraman and many other administrative and municipal authorities.
