The Cameroon Government is putting in place Military and security dispositions in view of an anticipated incursion into the Bakassi Peninsula by Nigerian troops.
According to recent intelligent report, the Nigerian Military is preparing an attack on the locality of Kombo Abedimo in the month of February 2023.
This comes after the Nigerian government revealed that it was challenging the ICJ rulling that recognized the Bakassi peninsula as Cameroonian territory.
Administrative authorities in the Southwest Region, alongside their Military and Security collaborators have received instructions from Yaoundé putting them on high alert.
