The member of parliament for Buea Urban constituency honourable Malomba Essembe has encouraged the community of Tole in Buea to continue to strive towards the complete return of peace and normalcy in the once vibrant community which unfortunately has been badly affected by the outbreak of the sociopolitical upheavals in the region.
Honourable Malomba Essembe was speaking within the context of a peace crusade in Tole where he was equally a bearer of humanitarian aid from the presidential couple, Paul and Chantal Biya for the people of Tole.
The member of parliament was the guest of honour in Tole on the invitation of The Community Development Association (CODA) and The Tole Old Boys and Girls Association within the context of activities marking the week of peace celebration in the community.
In the sidelines of the event the member of parliament for Buea Urban constituency said that the occasion was quite a timely one and it’s importance can not be underemphasized.
« We have given them the support especially as their elite and we hope this goes a long way enhance the rehabilitation process. We’ve equally handed a consignment of aid from the presidential couple and we worked with some leaders in the area to identify the destitute and needy. »
The inhabitants of Tole equally took turns to appreciate the visit of the MP and promised to remain diligent on the path towards complete rehabilitation.
