About six hundred persons drawn from all six divisions that makes up the South West Region will converge in Buea from Thursday May 11 to Saturday May 13 for the South West Peace and Development Forum.
The event organized by the South West regional assembly will hold on the theme, « South West Our Region, Our Challenge Our Common Destiny »
Speaking on the flagship programme Cameroon Calling on the national radio , the president of the South West regional assembly Mr Elango Bakoma Zacheous reiterated that the event will be an opportunity for sons and daughters of the region to brainstorm on the path covered so far and within the framework of work the search for lasting peace and normalcy is their concern in the region as well as additional measures to be put in place to attain the goal.
He equally expressed optimism ahead of the event, noting that it will be attended by all the living forces in the region including business persons, government officials, traditional rulers, IDPs and ex-fighters.
