At least two children are confirmed to have died and over a dozen others remain unaccounted for after floods stroke Buea Town, Governor’s Street, Biaka Street and several other neighbourhoods in Buea.
People around the affected areas say they were surprised by the runoff waters which came from the mountain only one week after a similar incident affected the same areas.
The flood which occurred around midday today March 18 2023 equally recorded heavy property damages leaving at least 30 persons homeless.
Rescue mission have gone underway as locals have embarked upon a desperate search for persons who are believed to be trapped under the rubles caused by the floods.
